Mark Phillips has joined the Potter Group as Area Manager of the company’s South Powys and Merthyr Tydfil recycling operation.

Based at the Brecon Household Waste Recycling Centre of Wales biggest privately owned waste management company he joins the firm with over 23 years’ experience in the waste and recycling industry.

The 54 year old, who lives in Bridgend, has moved to the Potter Group from Bristol City Council, where he spent the last 10 years running a transfer station and civic amenity site.

He had previously been employed as a transport manager with a skip hire and waste management company and also has experience as a health & safety manager.
Mr Phillips is married with three children, sons of 21 and 18 and a 17year old daughter. He is a keen follower of The Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey team, with both sons playing the sport and this takes up a lot of his family time.
