Before Midnight has so far won three of his twelve races and after being transferred to Sam Thomas in the spring, the son of Midnight Legend finished a gallant second on his stable debut at Uttoxeter on what was his first start since January and put up another excellent display when second again at Market Rasen on his initial try at 2m5f. He hit the front two out and looked the winner but sadly got reeled in by the fast finishing Dead Right to get beaten on the line. He’s only a seven-year-old which means we should have plenty of fun with him and his winning opportunity won’t be far away again.
